A Brief History - The CACI treatment has over 25 years of medical research behind it and s completely safe and painless.  It is the original non-surgical face and body lifting treatment which was devised by Dr Thomas Wing of the USA.  Originally, the procedure was used to treat victims of bells palsy and strokes, but it was noted that that when treating the affected side of the face, it actually lifted higher than the unaffected side of the face.

CACI has been used in the UK for the last 15 years as a non-surgical face lifting treatment.  Previously, the CACI system had only been used in the sports field for muscular injuries and in hospital burns units.

What is the difference between a young face and an old face?  It is the difference in muscle tone and the circulation of the blood through the facial muscles and skin.  When the facial muscles are not exercised, the muscle fibres deteriorate and shrink and the skin covering these muscles seems to age very rapidly.  As the years pass, the supply through the small, thread like capillaries that lead to the facial muscles and skin, slows. Less oxygen, fewer nutrients and a diminished supply of blood pass through the muscles and the skin.

What CACI Does – it retards the signs of aging, keeps the skin youthful and glowing, and keeps the facial muscles toned.  It is designed to give gentle exercise to the facial muscles, tightening and firming them, to reduce slackness and restore natural contour.

CACI stimulates the circulation of energy to the facial tissues and muscles.  This increases the rate that the skin produces proteins such as collagen and elastin and muscle tissue can be re-constructed.  It improves both the skin and the supporting muscle tissue beneath it, restoring form and vitality to facial muscles that have gone soft due to lack of use and lack of circulation.

Because of the low current and the fact that there is no muscle contraction it is possible to work intensely around the delicate eye area, unlike many other electrical treatments.
How Quickly Does CACI Work – often noticeable results after just one hour treatment are seen and felt.

How CACI Does It  the CACI Micro-Mode uses a tiny micro current, which helps to tone, lift and re-educate the muscles back to their original position.  The face has over thirty muscles that lie directly below, and are connected to, the skin’s surface.  When these muscles are stimulated they either contract or expand.  When these muscles are stimulated proper firmness is re-established by correcting the sagging muscle, which in turn corrects the sag of the skin.  The

treatment also stimulates blood circulation, which helps improve muscle tone and counteracts dryness.
Micro-mode also works on improving skin tissue.  It softens lines and wrinkles and works to generally improve the skin’s texture and tone.  CACI increases fibroblastic activity by up to 60% - fibroblast cells are responsible for producing collagen in the skin, this increase of fibroblastic activity is the reason that  lines and wrinkles in the skin soften and reduce, and also rehydrates the skin giving dramatic improvements to skin tone and texture.

CACI works in harmony with the body’s own bio-electrical field.  The body works from electrical impulses and the impulses provided by CACI Micro-mode are very similar, so the current is virtually sub-sensory (means you don’t feel it).  There is no visible muscle contraction, so therefore skin and muscle tissue respond very quickly to this type of stimulation.

The CACI Non Surgical Face Lift is a very relaxing treatment which is carried out on a warm hydrotherm cushion, so your body is relaxed and kept in its optimum position for the duration of the treatment.  You leave feel pampered, relaxed and yet your face feels revitalised, toned and is glowing.
Although a difference is noted usually after just one treatment, for optimum results a course of at least 10 treatments is recommended with a follow up treatment once a month to maintain the results.
